Gloriously Unfinished: The January Edition
Gloriously Unfinished: The January Edition
Not your normal planning workshop. A creative, personal development workshop day for midlife women ready to ditch the shoulds and obligations and make 2027 a year that feels like theirs.
Friday 8 January 2027 | 10am–5pm | Guildford, Surrey | £249 | Just 15 places
Because your best chapters are still being written
You don’t need a new-year-new-you-colour-coded-plan for the next twelve months.
What you do need is a bit of space and a chance to hear yourself think. You need permission to want something different, and a room full of women who will cheer you on while you work out what that looks like.
Welcome to Gloriously Unfinished: The January Edition.
One whole day to get curious about what you want from the year ahead, get honest about what’s holding you back, and start creating a life that feels more like yours. Because, we both know, your best chapters are still being written.
What if 2027 was the year you did things differently?
Let’s be honest. January can come with a ridiculous amount of pressure.
New goals. New habits. New routines. A shiny new planner and the vague sense that you ought to have your entire life sorted by the second week of the month, mostly centred around resolutions that come from ‘shoulds’ and obligations.
But what if you didn’t need to do it that way?
What if you could take everything you’ve learnt, everything you’ve been through, everything you’re beginning to realise you want and use it to create a year that feels genuinely exciting? One where you set intentions that feel juicy.
What if you could stop measuring yourself against everyone else’s expectations and start making decisions based on what matters to you?
That’s what this day is about.
Gloriously Unfinished is for women who know there’s more they want from life, even if they can’t quite put their finger on what that is yet. Women who are ready to question the shoulds, make room for their own ambitions and take a few brave steps towards something different.
You don’t need to arrive with a big dream, a burning question or a five-year plan. Just an idea of what might need your attention right now, something that you keep putting off or are avoiding in some way.
And what you’ll need? Just yourself, an open mind and a willingness to explore what’s possible.
One day. Two powerful parts. Your year, designed your way.
I’ve designed the day to take you from honest reflection to exciting possibility, with plenty of room to think, talk, create and connect along the way.
The morning: Gloriously Unfinished
Get honest. Get audacious. Give yourself permission.
This isn’t a planning day. It’s not a goal-setting workshop. And it certainly isn’t about deciding you need to become a more efficient, more productive, more improved version of yourself.
It’s something with more edge than that.
In the morning, we’ll make space for the questions you don’t always give yourself time to ask.
Where are you, really? What’s working? What isn’t? What have you outgrown? And what might you want if you stopped worrying about what everyone else would think?
We’ll explore the obstacles that keep you playing small, the expectations you might be ready to challenge, and the possibilities you haven’t quite dared to take seriously.
Then we’ll bring it back to you.
One brave decision. Written down. Witnessed. Yours.
Gloriously Unfinished has now run twice, with full rooms and women telling me they wished we’d had longer together. This is your chance to experience it in person, with more time to explore what comes up and work out what you want to do with it.
The afternoon: The Retrospective
Build a year around energy and joy, rather than shoulds and obligations.
My annual Retrospective workshop is all about looking ahead differently.
Rather than filling your diary with obligations and setting yourself a list of things to achieve, we’ll explore what you want more of in your life, and what you’re ready to leave behind.
We’ll use what you’ve discovered in the morning to help you make choices about the year ahead.
What matters to you? What do you want to make room for? Where would you love to be braver? What would make 2027 feel like a year well lived?
This is your opportunity to shape the year around your values, your energy and your ambitions. Not somebody else’s definition of success or what you ‘should’ be doing.
Then we’ll make it visible: Your 2027 vision board
We’ll finish the day by creating a vision board to bring your ideas, intentions and possibilities to life.
Not a collection of pretty pictures that feels too embarrassing to display, or gets forgotten in a drawer by February, but a visual reminder of what you’re working towards, how you want your life to feel, and the things you want to give yourself permission to pursue.
Something you can return to when life gets busy, old habits creep in or the shoulds start getting louder again.
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, ideas you can act on and something tangible to bring you back to what matters.
What you'll leave with
By the end of the day, you’ll have:
Your Gloriously Unfinished playbook: a record of your reflections, discoveries and brave decisions.
A vision for your 2027: shaped around what matters to you, rather than what you feel obliged to achieve.
Your own vision board: a visual reminder of the year you’re choosing to create.
Practical next steps: ideas and decisions you can take into everyday life.
New connections: with women who understand what it means to want more and are happy to cheer you on.
Lunch, refreshments and a goody bag: all part of the day.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, more energised and rather more excited about what comes next.
It’s not about sorting your life out in one day, it’s about giving yourself the space and permission to start making it your own.
Don't just take my word for it...
"Jane created a space where we are all able to be brave and vulnerable and truth tellers. It's real gold! I came away feeling so much lighter and ready to make the changes needed to protect myself, my boundaries and live my life wholly as my own.”
Jenny
“I loved the way Jane guided us gently through our obstacles, giving us space to examine them, sit with them, visualise a way through them. Something almost impossible to do on your own.”
Gemma
“I left feeling nourished, uplifted and really motivated to start making some incremental steps towards a life that feels more authentic. I would highly recommend [it] to any women who would benefit from a supportive space to explore their own development.”
Vicky
“There was an elegant balance between creative, conversation, reflection and unstructured chats. I found a solution to my question and more.”
Lorna
About Jane
I’m Jane Galloway, an award-winning coach and speaker with two psychology degrees, a love of all things a bit woo and a particular interest in what helps us make meaningful changes in our lives.
I created Gloriously Unfinished because I believe we deserve more than a life built around keeping everyone else happy, meeting expectations and waiting for the right moment to do the things we really want. And sometimes, we just need to give ourselves permission in a way that we hear. Properly.
My approach combines psychology, thoughtful coaching, creative exploration and a healthy questioning of the rules we’ve been taught to live by.
I’ll give you space to think, ask the questions that matter and help you explore what comes up. I’ll also help you turn those insights into decisions and actions that make sense for you.
There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with, no judgement, and no pretending we’ve all got it sorted; just honest conversations, fresh perspectives and a day dedicated to what’s possible when you give yourself permission to want more.
Your invitation to Gloriously Unfinished: The January Edition
Friday 8 January 2027
10am–5pm | Guildford
£249 per person | Just 15 places
Your place includes the full day’s workshops, lunch and refreshments, your Gloriously Unfinished playbook, your vision board materials, a few treats along the way and the sort of injection of joy you get from hanging out with a group of women who just get it.
I’m keeping the group to just 15 women so we can create the kind of space where everyone has room to think, participate and feel supported.
Some places have already gone to women who’ve joined me before, so if this is speaking to you, don’t leave it until January to decide.
Ready to make 2027 feel like yours?
You don’t need to have it all worked out before you come.
You just need to be curious about what might happen if you gave yourself a day to explore.
To reserve your place, email Jane at hello@quietthehive.com with Gloriously Unfinished in the subject line.
I’ll get back to you personally with the details and next steps. No complicated booking maze, no bots pretending to be me, just a conversation, and a chance to make sure the day is right for you.
I can’t wait to see what we create together.
With love,
Jane x
P.S. If you’ve been to a previous Gloriously Unfinished day, thank you for being part of this little rebellion. I’d love to see you again.
