So how are you? Is it starting to feel like the new ‘normal’? It’s funny how quickly you can establish new routines and ways of being. I hope you’re remembering to attend to your own needs through all of this.

I got 2.5/3 on my intentions this week. I have reviewed my 20 for 2020 and started to look at what I can move forward on and what needs to be slightly tailored to fit!
.

Mine are:
1) Pink hair. Always fancied it, lock down seems a good time to try it. It may not be. The comes under the category of making a brave choice for me. Stay tuned!
2) Keep up the movement. Joe Wicks every weekday morning has been great (I have an achy bum and thighs; the children are just springing about!) and I’ve managed to fit in short runs too. It’s felt good to move.
2) Work our how the heck to get my payment page up and running ready for the launch of my new online programme. Have you entered the competition to win? You’re a very creative bunch; head to the story board and enter now and tag a friend to help!

I feel loved. In these tricky times random acts of kindness have the ability to lift the heart. This arrived from the fabulous women that are AWL2.

A special and heart filling treat that may just have made me have ‘something in my eye’ for many reasons, not least as a demonstration of how much they’ve enjoyed the Amazing Women Leaders programme and what they’ve got out of it.
.
We’re running our last session virtually on Wednesday, but we’ll be getting back together face to face as soon as we can and running a couple of extra virtual drop in sessions over the next month or two.

Darlings. #threethingssunday is feeling tricky this week. I want to keep you focussed. I want to provide normality and routine where it’s currently up in the air. I want to bring you comfort and hope. It will continue, but this week oblige me with an indulgence. This weeks Three Things Sunday has an option focus on your own mental wellbeing and resilience. I’d love to hear the three things that you will do to #selfcare this week. AND you can totally use it as normal to check in with your wider goals. I’m going to do to a mix.

1) I had a fantastic coaching session on Monday. I’m going to be reviewing and acting in those
2) look at my 20 for 2020 and see what would bring my joy to pursue and action or plan
3) yoga, run, meditate, be aware of my mental wellbeing and notice my low mood triggers. Be gentle with myself.

I am reading the new Glennon Doyle book #untamed and just 70 pages in stuff is leaping out at me. She talks about how, when asked to describe our perfect lives, each will be totally different.
So why then do we feel the need to conform to a version of a life which is socially constructed as 'perfect' when our actual dream lives don't look anything like that. Take five minutes to drop onto a piece of paper everything that brings you joy. Everything. Notice those you can still safely do and make sure you set an intention to do one every day.

On another sheet, note down everything you could do that could help someone else. Do one of those too.
.
